Ji Hyum Ahn, DDS, MSD
Assistant Professor of Dental Medicine
Dr. Ji Hyun Ahn graduated from the Kyungpook National University, School of Dentistry with a DDS degree and Orthodontic graduate school with a MS degree in Korea. After working for over 10 years, she came to the University of the Pacific, Orthodontic Department in San Francisco as a visiting scholar. Over there she completed her second orthodontic training with another MS degree.
Dr. Ahn completed board certification in orthodontics, and 2 of her cases were displayed during the annual AAO conference in New Orleans and the PCSO meeting in Anaheim. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Ahn is professionally affiliated with the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO) as well as Korean Association of Orthodontists (KAO), Korean Dental Association (KDA).
Dr. Ahn is a full time faculty in AEODO/MBA residency program and a member of Center for Innovations of Healthcare Education (CIHE) team at Roseman University. She is interested in researches on Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs) and 3D Printer.
Other than orthodontics, Dr. Ahn likes hiking, traveling and snowboarding. She enjoys sharing testimonies and encouraging others, believing loving others is our goal.
